A couple of years ago, I admonished the active political writers on Medium. I told them their efforts towards a better USA would be better spent on canvassing than writing political articles:

In case you have not yet figured out my ulterior motive, I am an inventor for an alternative democracy. Putting spare time into this endeavour would be more useful than canvassing.
