A declining civilization takes a long time to decline. If we extrapolate, the electricity will no longer be reliable.

And yet, we can see how the Ukrainians have adapted to electricity shortages.

Humanity is quite adaptive and resilient. Average Russians will find a way.

While I have been wrong before in my geopolitical predictions, I was predicting Russia regaining most of its Warsaw Pact holdings a year ago. It seems this war will end within the Ukrainian borders.

The only questions are if Russia will stay together-and who will be running the show(s)?
