A document is only as good as the people believe that it is good. Many Latin American countries adopted the framework of the US constitution, yet these countries have not lived up to the democratic promise.

I can (and have) poked holes in the US Constitution. For example, the three-fifths clause is absurd. There is no way it can be defended by any democratic sense, back then and today.

There have been writers on Medium who have rewritten the US Constitution. More thoughtful than the actual document, but the process of getting these versions implemented is problematic.

The TDG essay is not a true constitution. I could write a constitution based on TDG principles, but I think a 'high-level" constitution should be written by the people working on the TDG at that future time.

But I have written a sample constitution for the local level at the early stages.

Early builders can use this document with small changes to suit their locality. Or they can use it as a framework for their own version. Or they can create something totally different.
