A few days ago, a fellow next to mother's room at the Lodge passed away from Covid 19. Very likely, his death will be put into the Covid column, but for the last two years he has been battling a bladder issue, hospitalized servel times. He was 90 years old and some version of demetia was setting in.

On one hand, the angle you are presenting is very real. We gave the ICU doctors too much sway in the decision roorms.

On the other hand, had we--the people-- followed their advice, the transission rates would be much lower. I don't see reducing social outings and wearing face masks a big inconvenience. And we--the people--could have done this without any orders from government.
