I watched a Sagan video from 1985, addressing Congress. He had accurately predicted our current climate change issues of today. Yet our political system could not respond. It cannot respond today.
About the same time, I was entering Canadian politics, believing I could help make a better world. I left in 1992, after realizing how dysfunctional this system is. It cannot find the solutions we are looking for. Somehow I invented a new system.
Here is my review of a popular book in this field:
These improvements are only minor tinkerings of current ways. And these ways are taking us further away from curiosity, healthy skeptisism, and rationality. We need to investigate new ways.
