A good solution indeed.

About a year ago, I put 133 of my Medium articles into a compilation to market my alternative democracy in a different way. After not seeing these articles for some time, I did find ways to improve many of them. And I found more than a few grammar gremlins.

From past experience, I knew I would find, at best, 75% of the gremlins. This compilation needed 99% kill rate to be credible for real publishing. I hired a copy editor and the bill came to about $1000.

When I see an error in a Medium article, I just assume the writer does not have the resources to kill all the gremlins.

It seems to me that it is possible that writers that want this kind of critique, a pub could be created for that purpose. Maybe there already is such a pub.
