A lot has been changed since this article was written a few months ago. Cruise ships are bound to sit idle for at least two yours. BTW, I liked Mr. Trump’s suggestion of turning them into temporary hospitals for Covid-19 patients.

But as I was reading this article, it became painfully obvious at how WE THE PEOPLE have failed to provide adequate regulations for cruise ship operations. The legislative processes lag far behind our ever changing society.

And our inability for multiple sovereign states and provinces to learn how to get along is also apparent.
