A strange Medium morning. I was trying to console another writer about his lack of traction on Medium. I gave him some reasons why we remain "bottom writers." I mentioned that my feed does not bring up your articles and I have hunt you down to see what you have been up to. The main message: the feeds are not that great--and I don't know how to fix them.

After I sent my response, I went to my feed. There was this Benjamin Sledge article right at the top!

Go figure.

It is strange that many Christians can denounce the the Pharisees and Sadducees while not seeing the same traits in themselves.

Many veterans in Canada are in similar economic situations as the US. To me, it is a no-brainer for both countries to address these issues. I often wonder what are the back-room conversations that allow us to kick the can down the road for another decade. Changing political parties does not seem to help.

Having said that, I believe we Canadians are handling veterans better than we were 20 years ago, but there is still room for improvement. In the grand scheme of things, the finances to make these repairs are small.
