About 15 years ago, CBC interviewed Canadians about their employment. Only 17% were truly happy with their occupations. The other 83% were there mostly for the paycheck; they would have preferred to earn a living doing something else.

If we all followed our True Selves, our economy could not function. Someone has to pick up the garbage and take it to the landfill. Kids are better raised when their family is not in a state of destitution.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to be critical for your life choices. But somehow our society is out of balance.
