About a year ago, I got a warning from a top writer. He was going to report me for dogging on to other people's articles to promote my alternative democracy. It seems I had a sinister ulterior motive to sell books, whereas his ability to earn a middle-class income by writing drivel was OK.

I won't mention any names, but he's the fellow that writes stories about sleeping with 200 different women before he finds himself. Why his articles are popular says more about us than him.

Anyways, I told him to go ahead and report me. I had nothing to lose. If Medium kicks me out, that is is probably a good thing for it seems I have been wasting my time, and I can now spend my spare time elsewhere. Or--just maybe--a real live person will take a look at my innovative work and give me a top writer designation in the algorithms. But then my antagonist would have share earnings with me!

Neither outcome was realized, so I didn't get reported. I am still dogging on to certain articles to promote my alternative democracy. His articles still show up on my feed. My articles generally don't go very far--even with a catchy title.
