About three years ago, I read “The Soveirgn Psyche” by Ezrah Aharone. One of his main tenets that that African Americans have developed their own distinct culture within the USA. It is folly to assume that there is actually only one American culture.
So this essay makes a lot of sense in that the various groups really don’t have a lot in common for them to be on the same battlefield in many social/political issues.
It seems strange to me that electoral districts are so large that various cultures are often mixed together that many groups are not represented in government. The electoral districts in the TDG will be about 200 people. More people of different American cultures are likely to be elected into governance in this system.
