After 35 years of not playing basketball, I find myself a coach on my son’s high school basketball team. Actually, he and 15 other boys got cut from the school’s two teams. My son was disappointed, and I really thought he needed basketball to be enthused about staying in school. So I went to school to ask some questions. The response: “We will put a third team together if there is a coach.” What could I do?

These boys actually have a lot of ball handling and shooting skills garnered from recreational play. But they really lack a co-ordinated offensive skills. So I have been teaching them a few offensive plays from my high school days. My message: “We work these plays so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. And jungle offence won’t get you into next year’s teams.”

From this article, it seems the Democrats have a great offence: drag this thing out as long as possible. And they only need to affect a couple million votes to give them a bit of a landslide in November.

Great job. Few Medium contributors really seem to understand what is happening here.

Here is my take.
