i thought I was prepared for parenting, and seemed to do OK until Danny was about four years old. Then it seemed he was no longer reading the books written by the experts.

A lot of my parenting is based on observation and experimenting. Use what seems to work best, at least until it does not work.

And I do not take Danny to restaurants.
