It is indeed futile to be part of it! I find it interesting that so many political writers on Medium (mostly from the left) somehow believe their left articles are going to either (1) convince thousands of the Trump base to change their political orientation or (2) convince the Biden administration to alter its balancing act more towards the wishes of the left-wing writer. Folly!

It is time to spend energy on considering a new kind of democracy.
