American thought is shallow: Umair thought cannot imagine an improved version of democracy.

American thought is arrogance: Umair thought believes that USA will turn itself around by electing Ms. Warren. Has he forgotten the political messiah the USA elected in 2008?

Americans should be studying [other systems]. True, but Umair thought stops when he peers at democracies in western Europe, not realizing that many people in these countries are not exactly overjoyed with their political leaders. Yellow vests in France? A rising tide of neo-Nazis in Germany? And BTW, recent polls says 70% of Americans want public health care — just like all those utopias Umair likes to talk about. Is this really fault of the people? Or does the system need replacing?

American thought is insular and provincial now. Umair thought too cannot look past the 1787 Constitution as if this is the greatest version of democracy that humanity can ever invent.

American thought is superficial. See above points. Umair thought cannot look beyond the known ways, just like everyone else.

Like the detractors of Galileo, Umair’s paradigm is all wrong.
