In the early 1980s, I was doing lots of flying for work in the Canadian oilpatch. Many airports. I invented "wheels on luggage" to make luggage easier for passengers. I didn't do anything with that invention, but 10 years later, most luggage came with wheels.
The United States elected an authoritarian buffoon for president. It looks like that person might be going to jail, yet he is still a contender for the job. Is this not something that needs to be fixed?
It seems not. Medium readers are not interested in an electoral system that would prevent similar people from acquiring high political office.
Is this an underrated problem?
If it is not fixed, the USA will move from an authoritarian buffoon to a competent authoritarian.
