In the last three years, I have taken all sorts of approaches to "earn trust" with different kinds of articles (300) and comments (7346). I have been indirect, and I have direct. Something should have worked with some people. Maybe this article might turn a corner for me.

I think a lot of the resistance is that average people building a new democracy is quite bewildering to those average people.

BTW, I used to serve on quite a few boards. I spent six years in a political party. I attended many, many meetings. Not so much these days, but when family life gets settled, I look forward to sitting on boards.
