Another great piece of history.

I've been on Medium for five years promoting an alternative democracy. You would think that with the number of people here who are complaining about the current system would spend an one or two hours investigating another system. But they can't. I don't understand why.

The "lawyer overproduction" hypothesis is quite intriguing. So maybe when the lawyers can't find good-paying jobs, they can move the nation forward--with the TDG or something else.
