Another Three Articles That Should Have Done Better

If you are new to this series, here are my thresholds, in terms of Medium shekels per article:

Below average: <$0.80

Average: $0.80 < x < $1.60

Above average: >$1.60

For many of the below average articles, I either expected they would fail or I later understood why they did fail. These articles do not make this list.

But the articles below are a mystery as to why they did so poorly.

Revenue: $0.28

I wrote a six-part series of how corporations help rich people get richer. The first two articles of this series did not do well. So I proffered this third article to a pub I frequently publish to. I gave the pub owner permission to change the title and graphic. He did. With his pub’s readers and his better “first impression” than mine, I was expecting more than $0.28.
