As I was going through this article, I found myself thinking, "What about _______?" several times. And later you answered those questions. Well done. Your history seems to agree with my limited perspectives.

Cultures (and their religions) tend to go through cycles. We are just seeing those cycles. Things might be different 200 years from now.

Societies that are low in the cycle tend to find scapegoats. Blaming Israel for Arab dysfunctionality is not that much different than Russians blaming NATO for Ukraine sovereignty or a non-advancing American demographic blaming deep- state libtards for that demographic's misfortune.

------

Many years ago, I watched the TV series "Call of Duty." The squad had a racist, but the black-on-white kind. Despite many battles where the two races worked together, the racist would not renounce his racism.

The lieutenant asked the soldier: "Why do you hate us so much."

The soldier replied, "Because the hate is all I have."

This sentiment goes in so many other places.

My Muslim friends cannot answer this question. You might have an answer. The Dome on the Rock is regarded as a primal holy Muslim site. Muhammad was never anywhere near that place. If he rose to heaven, it is illogical that he somehow travelled (alive or dead) to that Jewish rubble pile to find his stair to heaven.
