As I was writing my first political novel, my plan was to use Google Ads to promote it. When I got to that stage, Google Ads refused to show my ads. It seems they did not want to appear as being a force to influence the next election. Anything "politics" was refused. I put in an appeal, but Google never back to me.

I did find this unsettling--as I have been a loyal Google customer for at least a decade. Suddenly, I was banned.
