Before the Atlantic departed Medium, they posted an article about left-trolls pretending to be right-wing trolls and participating on right-wing sites. Their messages were ingeniously crafted such that they could stay on these sites, yet put a shadow of doubt into other people's minds.

In my opinion, these people were more likely to change the political course of the nation than those writers on echo chambers (like Medium). Many Medium writers are wasting their time--as far as I can see.

The truth is that our democratic institutions are breaking down. We need to start building new ones rather than fix the old ones. After 25 years, I'm still an echo chamber of one.
