Before I take on a devil's advocate of this piece, I will be getting the vaccine when it is open for my demographic.

There is a risk with every vaccine. That risk is higher with a compromised health situation, and this particular demographic might be in that group.

And this a new kind of vaccine, with no real testing of long term effects.

Unfortunately, the advocates for vaccinations have frame this issue as a 0% chance of failure. Which means the full truth is not out there. We proles just don't like anything that is not 0% or 100%.

And there is the profit motive from the pharmauticals. I was watching one analyst yesterday. The pharmacuetical industry knew about coronaviruses 20 years ago, but did little reseach because there hasn't been an profit potential. Now they just pump out this stuff in a few months. Should they get our full trust? Especially when the politicians are looking for any kind of solution?
