Even though I'm coming from Canada, I am aware of AOC's rise. I still don't know know much about her. I've seen a couple videos in congressional hearings. She is well prepared and delivers her agenda on target.

From your article, it seems she is not doing so well in the "horsetrading" that goes on in Congress. That may or may not reflect on her abilities to get things done. Hard for me to say because I think we need to do politics much differently.

She is, however, using a personality cult to its fullest. And this is more concerning for me. We really need to move away from these personalities a being the means of getting things done--even if such a personality is well meaning and on the correct side of the political fence.
