Nice in theory, but the reality is that too many people are not taking accountability. They are taking too many social cues from the people who are in public office. If elected politicians are behaving like ***this**** or *****that*****, the common people will follow in a similar way.

Like it or not, what happens in, around, and about our legislators has a psychological impact on the people. Value systems are being changed--and usually not in a good way.

We really have to reform our system of governance.
