As for his techniques failing him, I’m putting my money on him winning in 2020. But after that, the USA will head for its cyclic recession. His popularity will drop. Some of his base will leave him.

But the real solution is developing an electoral system where the likes of Mr. Trump cannot be elected in the first place.
