Canada is going through an interesting social change.

About a year ago, we discoverd unmarked graves on the sites of residential schools that housed and educated young people of our First Nations. These young people died at the school because of abuse and neglict; their parents could not find out why they didn't come home.

The country is finally understanding of the terrible injustices of those times. It might take another decade to get that full understanding.

Until the USA undergoes a similar process, the unity will not happen.
