For at least two decades, the Alberta government has put western Canadian history in the elementary school curriculum, including a big component of First Nations.

The radical right (about 15% of the Alberta population) has gained political leverage of the province. It seems the First Nations history is going to be removed soon.

Our political structures are becoming increasingly inept. It is time for a new way.
