I'm not writing and posting for the 30% of Americans who would prefer a Republican oligarchy over a democracy.

I'm not writing and posting for the 40% of Americans who have become apathetic and cynical and can't even cast a ballot.

I'm writing for Americans (and other world citizens) who know there is something truly broken in democracy. I have no problem finding them on Medium. But after three years, I see this above group as being totally paralyzed.

I ask for three things:

1) Read the TDG books and evaluate the TDG independently. Four of my five books are free from my website. It might take a person 10 hours to read them all, but many Medium people already spend 10 a week on Medium.

2) Spread the news: "There's this crazy Canadian who has some interesting ideas. He says "Donald Trump can't be elected in his democracy."

3) Work with your neighbors to build a local version of this new democracy. See where it goes in 5 years.

#1 and #2 are actually quite easy to do. But if we are paralyzed, we can't even do these easy tasks.

#3 definitely will take people out of their comfort zone. But #3 will take much less time than being a volunteer in a political party or an activist organizer.

But we are paralyzed. The disease of the political party will continue.
