Cathi: I started putting the TDG together in 1997. But it really wasn't until 2009 that I felt I had all the pieces together. At that time, I thought that western democracy had another 20 years before it crumbled. It looks like I might be wrong on that estimate.
The TDG requires some societal training. We just can't replace western democracy overnight. There is a 10- to 20-year period for enough of us to have the right values to make the TDG work.
My thought was that the TDG would be built concurrently with the crumbling the western democracy. Then there would be a natural and credible takeover of one system for another. These days, I see the possibility of the TDG being built during an oligarchy--which means I should rewrite Chapter 7 of my book.
In 2009, I spent about $2000 advertising the TDG, plus working internet forums. Nothing! Nada! Zilch! Twelve years later: Nothing! Nada! Zilch!
Average people have been so inculcated that they have no power to change the system that they don't even want to try.
I'm currently reading a popular book from the Political Science field. So far, this esteemed author is 100% CLUELESS is to what is wrong with democracy. If average people are waiting for the "smart" people to read my book and recommend it, the TDG ain't gonna be built.
For investment of about 10 hours a month, average people can build the TDG. Here is the instruction pamphlet:
