CBC Radio had a documentary about pregnancy in Idaho. It tells a different story than your article. Obstetricians, fearful of running afoul of anti-abortion laws, are leaving the state for more friendly places to practice. Rural hospitals are closing their obstetric wards, so rural people can not deliver their baby locally.

CBC Radio does not always get everything right, but they are right more often than they are wrong. I don't have the resources to travel to Idaho to rely on this "blind faith."

Rather, I look at the pattern of stories coming from the media. There's no doubt, that in some parts of the USA, women are more oppressed than they were five years ago.
