I would not consider the TDG as modifying the existing system. For the TDG to work, we need to rid ourselves of all political parties. For the TDG to work, we need to bring our collaborative skills to a higher level. Those skills will increase as we build the TDG.

Other than four salient features, I leave each local TDG will design itself.

As local TDGs merge (more collaborative skill building forums), local constitutions will be modified for the merged area. This will be a time of great experimenting in electoral structures and cultures.

Will the final TDG have a president?

Will it have a bicameral senate?

Will it have similar legislative procedures?

How will it appoint judges to the judicial side?

Will it employ more aspects of direct or internet democracy?

I don't know. These are task for future TDG builders to figure out.

This final TDG will be very different than current American, Canadian, or Europeans democracies.

But we really need to get ourselves of the political parties. They are the cancer.
