COVID has been both overrated and underrated. By not being able to put this illness in its proper context, we are likely to get the next pandemic wrong. And this next pandemic may kill 20% of its victims.

COVID was a warning shot to teach us something.

Many left-wing writers like to blame USA's 700,000 COVID deaths on Mr. Trump. Even though we in Canada took more sensible precautions, our per-capita fatality rate is about half of the US. So this means, at best, Mr. Trump should only be blamed for 350,000 deaths. But when one wants to blame Mr. Trump, let's go all in, right?

A little while ago, 10 people were killed at a packed concert in Houston. My question is: "Why were there so many people there in these pandemic times?" But it's not politically correct to ask questions like that.
