Democracy, where people at the lower rungs had some say in governance, is an aberration of history. The western world is just going back to that natural order of humanity, which has one demographic running roughshod over the rest.

If the world is better governed under liberalism, then it has exert a consistent force against our natural tendencies. I don't see western democracy providing this force.
