Direct democracy, as currently designed, can be easily corrupted by money. "Yes" or"No" can be decided on who makes the better TV commercials and can put them up on the screen the most. Still too shallow coverage of the issue.

I invite you to follow another Medium contributor. Allan Milne Lees believes in direct democracy but also limits the voting right to about 15% of the population. His reasoning is that 85% really can't vote wisely. His system really doesn't have politicians. Only bureaucrats to follow the rules established of the referunda.
