Don’t worry about repeating yourself. I can’t keep track of all the people I responded to and what I said to them.

In March, I got 40 Medium people to my website. No one went past the landing page. But I did sell two books!

I think it is folly to produce a classless society. We need the drive of the wealthier classes to move our economy forward with their skills and talents.

In the 1980s, Sweden had a doctor shortage. What they found that doctors were only working half days because the 90% marginal tax rate meant they were working for nothing. So they took the afternoon off to renovate their homes, fix their cars, or make gourmet meals. When the government reduced the marginal rate to 60%, the doctors came back to work full time — and hired carpenters and mechanics and ate in restaurants.

I come from a working poor background. Yet I was able to go to university and reach more of my potential. As the Atlantic article suggests, those opportunities are being lost for many Americans of the working poor. I believe this trend is happening in Canada.
