Electoralism will not save us.

I loved this phrase. The minute a political movement starts focusing on winning elections is when it starts losing its idealism.

And there is no political messiah — regardless of the figures propped up as messiahs by the various factions in western democratic nations. But we continue to believe . . . .

If we can’t use electoralism (I think I’m going to use this word in my work) to bring out social change, then we need to build another system where electorailsm is not part of the social construct.

It’s time for a new system.
