For 24 years, I have been advocating for a new kind of democracy. No political parties, no noisy election campaigns, representatives elected on their character and capacity, etc.

I'm still an echo chamber of one. No one wants to even investigate this kinder, wiser version of democracy.

Is Umair right? Does world really not care about democracy?

While it’s so easy to blame the fans of the Kardashians, thinkers like Umair have had ample time to investigate my ideas. I suspect they believe that the current versions of democracy could have been saved (or will be saved) by us voting for the right people and doing a little street protesting to ensure the will of those right people is bent in the correct way.

Sorry, Umair readers, it is time for a totally different way.
