For about a year or so, I have been following a podcast called "History Behind the News." The premise of this series is to understand why the world is at today by looking to the past. The interviewees have great insights that are likely not to played in the mainstream media. But the interviewees are most likely to be professors in universities. The show emphasizes their credentials to be on the show. It is very unlikely I will ever be interviewed.

After our interview, I listened to some of their previous guests. This show does not care about credentials. They are looking for people with possible solutions.

I have to wonder whether academia is holding us back.
