For some reason, I had set number of residents for TDG (my alternative democracy) neighborhoods at 200. This number could go up or down a little depending on common sense boundaries.

This was before I heard of Dunbar's number or how many people we can juggle in our lives.

But I did live in relatively vibrant community in Edmonton. There were about eight houses on our block that formed a friend social unit. It was great.
