For some reasons, Medium does not put up your work on my feed. Maybe they think you are a bad influence on me. Anyways, today I sought you out and the gatekeepers must have been sleeping.
Great article. Does anonymity really matter?
I have been using Googled Adwords since 2006 to market my various inventions. Last fall, they asked for a copy of my driver's license----to prove that I am who I claim to be. So much for the loyal customer thing--after 17 years.
I did not give it them. I could not justify putting this document on the cloud for nefarious forces to extract and build a Dave Volek identity for themselves---especially when all my many Google campaigns have been marketing failures.
BTW, I am a writer for Colby Hess's Fear Factor. He did not ask for my driver's license.
If this prove-who-you-say-you-are keeps up, I'll have to get a bogus driver's license, with a bogus birthday, bogus DL number, and other bogus pertinent information.
