For sure, not much got done in the Trump years. When his fans promote his meagre accomplishments, all these things would have also been done by a moderate Republican like John Kasich.

When Trump shows a fascist tendency, it is more because of a reptilian instinct rather than a concrete plan to consolidate power. Let's face it, this man is just not that smart.

Unfortunately he still has a solid base behind him. He need only say something like "Occupy all federal buildings" and it will happen. We should not be surprised that some violence is going to happen, either after 2022 or 2024 elections. A Democrat sweep of these elections will only prove to the base that elections were rigged.

Mr. Trump's successor is watching and waiting.
