For the past 25 years, I have spoiled my ballot in Canadian federal and provincial elections. That is my way of saying the system is slowly falling apart. I came to that conclusion after spending six years inside of a political party.

Non-voters are the most important block of voters in an election. Political parties do not want to wake them up because they will most likely be a protest vote. So political messages is designed to keep non-voters sleeping.

Mr. Crawford has been promoting his doom-and-gloom if Mr. Trump is re-elected. I say we should consider that Mr. Trump should be left to clean up his own mess. In that way, the chances are better that the TRump base will slowly erode. If Mr. Biden wins, that base will remain intact — and be a greater force in 2024.

Mr. Fisher makes an important comment about non-voters. I have responded to him. Take a look.

Non-voters are not voting for good reasons. If we blame them, we are blaming ourselves.
