For the past 25 years, I have spoiled my ballot in federal and provincial elections. It is my way of saying that our 1867 democracy needs to be replaced. So far, they are not getting the message.

I did vote NDP provincially (Alberta) last time. I gave them my vote because they seemed to have stayed away from any scandal while being four years in power.

I do vote municipally, even though there are no parties. My town has 15,000 people. I seem to know something about some of the names of the ballot that I can vote for someone---or around someone. If I lived in a city, I likely would spoil my ballot.

My vision is that the TDG will be built as the current democracy crumbles. When it becomes obvious to most citizens, the TDG will be ready to assume authority and responsibility.

That assessment came in 2009. We might have to go through a period of oligarchy first.
