For whatever reason, the title+graphic of the first four did not interest me. The fifth one was kind of interesting, so I went to it. I don't understand why it got 1100 claps and 72 comments--which would be a gold mine in my bottom writer world.

A few people have accused me of offending them when I tell them THEY need to build the democracy they are looking for--and they have been manipulated into not doing so. And yet you have offended a whole whack of people with the fifth article.

So offending people may lose readers. Or it may gain readers. Who knows what works?
