From my perspective, Umair also belongs to the masses that don’t recognize reality.
The people may indeed be broken, but they have been inculcated by the system. And the system is broken. It will continue to inculcate people in the wrong way. So we need to change the system. That model of governance from 1787 is not working well these days.
Even those on the political left have had their minds warped. They still believe American democracy can be saved. They too will not consider an alternative of democratic governance as they throw their invectives at Mr. Trump. They just can’t ask: “How did this electoral system elect someone like Mr. Trump in the first place?”
