From my TV screen, I noticed this in real time. Almost as if they knew something important was going to happen. They were close spectators, but not quite in the fray.

Another thing I also noticed was that once the Senate had been breached, the protesters seemed to be at a loss of "what to do next." If only there had been a few lieutenants around with a plan of some kind, that day could have gone in a different direction.
