From what I can see, the current Supreme Court was a product of the rules----which is what my original articles was mostly about.
Just because we don't like the outcome should not be an excuse to toss aside the rulebook as it currently stands.
The President does have the right to expand the court. There are good reasons for him to do or not not do this. FDR tried and got more than the usual backlash. In the end, the Biden administiration will make this decision prior to 2024.
The Senate and Electoral College are a product of their times, albiet slightly modified. Had they not been in place, the USA would not have the same shape and size it has today.

We could argue that that the Senate and EC are outdated. But the US constitution has an amazing amending formula. Until that formula is applied, the Senate and EC are a big part of the rulebook. And neither insitution is overtly undemecratic. It would impossible for a party with 30% approval to form government.
The question we should be asking is: "Why was someone like Mr. Trump a viable contender in US elections?"
That is really what we have to fix!
