Good article. My only beef would be we should not trust China with its own statistics. It’s hard to imagine that Covid-19 never left for other parts of China, while ravaging the rest of the world.

I had a friend who has been living in Japan for many years, working in engineering. He is frustrated that sometimes it takes days for a group to make a decision. They talk and talk and talk. Then they show up one morning — and somehow the decision was made. He still can’t figure this out.
