Good history lesson. Unfortunately, it’s likely to be interpreted that all socialism is irresponsible and all socialist countries will eventually turn into Venezuela.

In 1968, Canada made the decision to move health care from private interests in public interests. In other words, a significant part of our economy moved from capitalist to socialist. Fifty-one years later, Canada has not approached a Venezuela state of affairs.
